War is the third artbook by Sehii Kamennoy, published by RODOVID Press. The new book continues his artistic reflections on modern dramatic events, as in Ukrainian Suprematism (2021) and The Album of the Discharged Soldier (2017). Serhii Kamennoy investigates his theme through various media – drawings, photography, collage and incorporating artificial intelligence. At times, moments in his work are viewed from a distant, ancient past, from the contexts of other epochs and in dialogue with well-known works of fine art. At other times, they are seen from a distant future. The result is a comprehensive work, which tells about the intersection of art with war.
