Migrations from Western Ukraine to Western Canada

This publication presents the materials of two joint international conferences on the 100th anniversary of Ukrainian immigration to Canada: “Emigration of the People of Western Ukrainian Lands to North America at the Turn of the 19th Century: It’s Role in Conquering the Canadian West,” which took place in Chernivtsi in 1990, and “Migration of Ukrainians to Western Canada after 1891: Centennial Conference,” which took place in Edmonton in 1991.
